Rotary Diamond Discs
Diamond discs are designed for the fabrication, contouring, and shaping of metals and composites, available in the most popular shapes and in 3 grit sizes. Mounted on a mandrel with an adaptor for Ø3 mm Shank, fitting any Ø2.35 mm or Ø3 mm Rotary filing or polishing machine.
Individually packed and color-coded for easy identification. Available with double or single side electroplated diamond coating.
Substrate & Coolant Recommendations
Use with Water-Based Soluble Coolants for precision profile grinding on abrasive or brittle substrates:
- Tungsten Carbide, Composites & Fiberglass
- Glass, Industrial Ceramics & Ferrite
- Stone, Marble, Rubber & Non-ferrous Metals
Note: Avoid using Diamond directly on high-carbon steel (>0.7% carbon) due to thermal carbon affinity. Select CBN plated tools with oil-based coolant for tool steel and stainless steel applications. Electroplated tools can be re-plated.
